I joined the Centre for Cancer Prevention in 2009, having trained as a surgical oncologist specialising in breast cancer, before working in the USA in breast cancer biomarker research.
My research within the department focuses on the prognostic and predictive biomarkers in breast cancer and cancer chemoprevention, particularly on the role of aspirin in cancer prevention.
I provide clinical advice on queries for breast cancer trials run by CPTU, provide advice regarding sample collection and storage and I am involved in the review of evidence related to cancer chemoprevention and development of new trials.
I also provide input regarding the correlative science components and biomarker studies related to the trials.
