I joined the Centre for Cancer Prevention in August 2014: I am responsible for driving participants’ recruitment into prevention and screening clinical studies. I support research staff with issues pertaining to participant retention in clinical trials and I also assist investigators in the set-up of new studies.
Prior to my current post, I worked in the NHS as clinical research practitioner with the responsibility of opening clinical trials on site and recruiting patients into trials. I’ve also worked as post-doctoral research assistant in cancer pharmacology, investigating the molecular pharmacology of novel preclinical anticancer drugs.
