Laura White, IBIS-II Deputy Project Manager

As Deputy Project Manager for the IBIS-II trial, my responsibilities in this role include all ethics and regulatory submissions and playing an active role in the preparation for inspections/audits.  In the absence of the Clinical Project Manager I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the trial which requires a thorough knowledge in all clinical trial processes and also a key understanding of the job roles of other team members.  I am also involved in all data management aspects of the study, being responsible for data-cleaning and monitoring for a sub-set of participating sites.   No day is ever the same and there are always new queries that arise, but maintaining contact with the trial staff at participating IBIS-II trial sites to offer help when it is needed is the most important and enjoyable part of the job
